Edna Shepard, nee Fraerman, 93, beloved wife of the late Irving; loving mother of Barbara Shepard, Ellyn Shepard & Stacy (Gene) Cohen; cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Jay) Juarez, Michael (Karla) Giese and Brian & Mitchell Cohen; cherished great grandmother of Kaela, Halie, & Jesse Juarez and Amelia, Luke, Eric & Kelsie Giese; dear sister of the late Dr. Sam (Susan) Fraerman; devoted daughter of the late Henry & Mollie. Edna was a proud volunteer for over 50 years at Highland Park Hospital. Chapel Service Friday 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Entombment Shalom Memorial Park. A celebration of her life will be held following the service from 3 PM to 5 PM at Briarwood Country Club, 355 Deerfield Road, Deerfield.
